Job Overview:

Shopify is seeking a talented and motivated Staff Marketing Designer to join our team on an internship basis. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and designing marketing materials and campaigns to promote Shopify's products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating engaging and effective marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Create and design marketing materials and campaigns, including digital and print advertisements, website graphics, social media posts, and email campaigns
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and sales, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality design solutions
Iterate on design concepts based on feedback and data-driven insights
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of design processes, assets, and guidelines
Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to marketing design, incorporating new ideas and approaches as appropriate

Requirements:

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in graphic design, marketing, or a related field
Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, tools, and best practices
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Sketc
