We are seeking a talented and passionate Lead UX Designer to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of Apple's products and services. In this role, you will lead the design of intuitive, user-centered experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver exceptional user experiences that delight our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of user-centered experiences for Apple's products and services, from concept to final implementation, working closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Define and maintain a clear UX vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, user needs, and technology constraints.
- Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including user personas, user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct user research, usability testing, and other design validation activities, leveraging insights to inform design decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Establish and promote UX design best practices, guidelines, and standards across the organization, ensuring consistency and coherence across all products and touchpoints.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of UX designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and growth.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design, and actively contribute to the team's knowledge sharing and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing complex, user-centered products and services.
- Deep understanding of UX design principles, methodologies, and tools, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision.
- Proven experience leading UX design projects and teams, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically, balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and present complex design concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Passion for Apple's products and services, with a deep understanding of the Apple brand and customer base.
