Job Overview:

Slack is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Software Engineer to join our Business Technology team on a 6-month contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative software solutions to support and optimize Slack's business processes and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating scalable, efficient, and user-friendly applications.

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement software solutions that support and optimize business processes, including CRM, ERP, and other internal systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, business operations, and IT, to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver high-quality software solutions
Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of business applications, leveraging best practices in software development, testing, and deployment
Support the integration of third-party tools, APIs, and platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability with internal systems
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, bugs, and other issues, providing timely and effective support for end-users
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of software designs, code, and procedures

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on business applications and systems integration
Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, and experience with web development frameworks, such as Angular, React, or Vue.js
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices, including agile, DevOps, and CI/CD
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
