Job Overview:
Shopify is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling Shopify's products and services to potential and existing customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for helping businesses succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business and drive revenue growth by selling Shopify's products and services to potential and existing customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and support
- Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Shopify's products and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product management, to develop and execute sales strategies
- Monitor and report on sales metrics and key performance indicators, using data-driven insights to optimize sales efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company
- Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, tools, and best practices, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
