Job Overview:
Airbnb is seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to employees via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Set up, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and mobile devices for new and existing employees
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with company policies and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with network connectivity, printers, and other office equipment
- Assist in the maintenance and administration of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network devices
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and initiatives as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT processes, procedures, and inventory
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, and Linux)
- Familiarity with network protocols, devices, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with cloud-based productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365) is a plus
